Additional Support for Pylon vTools and Operating Systems
Basler now makes the pylon vTools accessible for Linux ARM 64-bit with the new pylon 7.2 version.
Additionally, we added Basic and Pro versions to the present license levels in order to meet the diverse functional, performance, and financial needs of our customers. Additionally, we have added more vTools licenses to the portfolio, such as those for Template Matching. A new Region of Interest Definition and an enhanced Workbench complete the package for a better user experience.
New Static Defect Pixel Correction feature
Have you been dealing with hot pixels or defects that can happen at any time due to aging, environmental factors, or dirt? Your production downtimes cost you time and money, and your inspection tasks have been disturbed.
Recent Basler cameras have a new Static Defect Pixel Correction function that makes it simple to resolve these issues in the pylon Viewer and pylon APIs. Finding defective or hot pixels is as easy as following the steps, putting their coordinates into a user list in pylon Viewer or through the pylon API, and uploading them to the camera firmware. As a result, the camera will instantly and without any delays repair any pixel flaws.
